Rangers Vs. Devils

7:00pm, Madison Square Garden

Rangers Record: 25-26-7

Devils Record: 36-18-2

A game between the Devils and Rangers needs no introduction, as we know this one will be battle until the last seconds. It is the forth meeting of the season for these teams with last game ending in one to nothing in an epic battle between Brodeur and Lundqvist.

All though it is the same two teams in this rivalry there are to key additions for both clubs. As Blueshirt fans know, gaining Jokinen has had an impact on the power play and will look to notch a few PP goals tonight. However, this week the Devils made a huge trade to acquire all-star forward Ilya Kovalchuk from Atlanta.

The Rangers continue to find ways to loose games despite the offensive burst against the Capitals so tonight will be interesting. The Rangers must be on top of Kovalchuk as he has played well at the Garden this season registering some key points to beat the Rangers.

The goaltending matchup should be what everyone expects as Marty will face Hank in another big game that the Rangers must have.
