Rangers vs. Blues

7:00pm, Madison Square Garden

Rangers Record: 31-30-9

Blues Record: 32-28-9

Tonight we will get to see a battle between two teams that are trying to claw their way into the playoffs. Every game is huge and even though this is not an Eastern Conference matchup the Rangers cannot leave these two points on the table.

Consistency is the name of the game, and I don’t have to tell you what the Rangers are lacking in. Will we see the team that played the Flyers or the Canadians? Nobody really knows; but after Drury’s comments on the immaturity we can only hope this team wakes up.

With Boston coming up in a weekend matchup the Blueshirts can ill afford to lose this game, as they would need a small miracle to catch the Bruins for that last spot in the East. Boston would only have to play a bit better than 500 hockey to force the Rangers into a long summer vacation.

This also would have been a game to get Henrik a rest, as Auld has been solid, but the need their number one guy between the pipes. Henrik has only allowed five goals in his last three starts, yet the Rangers have only managed to win once.

Tonight is the night that this team needs to turn this level of compete around and maintain it from here on out. Someone needs to take this team over inside that locker room, and make sure everyone is in. All season these levels of compete have been different from game to game and player to player.

The Rangers cannot hit the snooze button one more time; it is time to get up!

i dont know man but I think the team has shown its true colors. they have their moments but overall I think they just dont want to win badly enough. theyre not motivated. cmon, if you dont want it like its your dieng breath then your not goin anywhere in the playoffs.

This team is absolute garbage they suck in every aspect i have been a rangers fan for a long time and i dont care to even watch anymore. This team has no heart and the orgnazation has no heart. Dolan dosent give a crap about winning either does sather so its safe to say we wont see anything short of 6 7 or 8 spots if they even make the playoffs for years to come. And we all know in the off season thay will load the team up with crap again. The whole thing is a joke fans need to stop going to games like they did in pittsburg and washington. It will never happen and no one listens to the fans. You will probably see Mike Keenan back next year thats why they have him on msg. Fans boycott this team its a sinking ship with no care they all suck they all dont want to win and all they do is collect a paycheck. Let the corprate a@#$%les go to the games the heck with em.
