The sad part about the prospect season is because really few teams win championships that you watch  one by one someone's season come to an end and it is mostly on a losing note. In the case of Troy Donnay (2013 UFA), his Erie Otters saw their season end with a 5-0 loss to the Guelph Storm in the Western Conference Finals.

The Otters were eliminated in 5 games 4-1 by the Storm who now move on to play in the OHL Finals for a chance to earn a trip to the Memorial Cup. As for Troy Donnay this game also ends his career in the OHL as next season he will be most likely be playing for the Hartford Wolfpack in the AHL or the Greenville Road Warriors in the ECHL.

In his final game for the Otters, Donnay was of course scoreless but a -1 as he finishied his playoff run with a 1-1-2 stat with a -1 and 12 PIMs. For the "stay at home" defender the numbers were not bad. Donnay had a good year as an overage player with a career best 2-17-19 with a +40 and 92 PIMs as he led all Ranger prospects in fighting majors with 5.

Over in the ECHL, the Greenville Road Warriors dropped game 4 of their series with the Kalamazoo Wings 4-1 and like the Rangers their series is tied now at 2-2. The Ranger prospects on the Road Warriors didn't have good games so here is how they did.

Goalie Jason Missiaen (2011 UFA) took loss as he gave up 3 goals on 20 shots.

Goalie Jeff Malcolm (2013 UFA) was the backup and did not play

Forward Kyle Jean (2012 UFA) was scoreless on 1 shot and a -1

Forward Andrew Yogan (2010 4th) was scoreless on 2 shots and a -2

Forward Michael St. Croix (2011 4th) was scoreless on 2 shots and a -2

Forward Josh Nichols (2012 UFA) was scoreless on 1 shot and a -1

Defenseman Samuel Noreau (2011 5th)  was a healthy scratch
